BROCHURE LOCATION To complete the quest you will need to first get the puzzle brochure. This can be found at Black and White Coffee located in The Crossing opposite the Bus Interchange, near the corner of Colombo and Lichfield Street.

You will find it on the bench near the window, just go in and grab it.
THE QUEST This is an interactive walking quest, where you will use this brochure, and an app on your phone, found at nzquest.co.nz. Along the way, you will decode messages, and solve clues, while exploring central Christchurch. Suitable for adults & kids ages 9+ (with parental guidance). Allow 1-1½ hours to complete.
EXPLORE CHRISTCHURCH
This quest will take you around central Christchurch. You might even learn a thing or two! You will need a phone with data, and a pen.
SOLVE PUZZLES
Complete this quest, by solving a series of puzzles and hidden messages. Suitable for ages 8+ with parental help.

150 years ago the pirate Captain Goldeye hid his gems in the foundations of Christchurch. It’s up to you to find them!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED & TIPS To complete this quest you will need to have a phone with data, and access to this app. You will also need a pen, and the brochure, which can either be downloaded from here, or picked up from the stand. It is also a good idea to have something hard to press your brochure onto when you are writing in it solving puzzles, such as a book.
